The Story So Far ....

My Favourite is the result of many ideas and creative whims over the years rolled into one!

I recently returned to Melbourne after a successful and fulfilling 10 years in London working in corporate marketing for some of the world's top companies/firms including Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse, Allen & Overy and Cisco Systems. I was lucky enough to travel an enormous amount and experience all the delights that the British and European life has to offer - particularly in the areas of retail, interiors and design.

After traveling back and forward to Australia over the years, I have watched with interest the development of online retail and have always felt that there was an enormous opportunity in online retail in Australia.

Personally, 95% of my shopping in London over the last five years was online, so with a great deal of personal experience I know what works, what doesn’t, what impresses a customer and what is downright irritating!

Towards the latter part of this year I purchased the very successful online gift store for women and children called 'Mummy's Favourite', however, I felt that what the Australian market really lacked was a 'one-stop-shop' for all gift buying for all ages and occasions so have promptly re-branded/launched under ‘My Favourite’ so that we can provide stylish gifts for all ages and demographics, not just for mum's and babies!

Currently the majority of My Favourite’s stock is Australian or New Zealand made and owned which we wholeheartedly support and will continue to do so forever more. However, the rest of the world has a lot to offer the Australian market also, and we will therefore be stocking more of the very best the UK, Europe, US and Asia have to offer and we will continue to bring this to the Australian market in the years to come!
