Loved for its function as much as its form, the Nylex sign proves you don't necessarily have to be beautiful to be admired.
Every one of these pieces has been hand screen printed with love and care. Each piece has been numbered as a limited edition print, titled and stamped*.
The artwork is printed on pH neutral paper made-up of 40% post consumer recycled fibre, 5% cotton and 55% chlorine free pulp from well managed forests. Basically this means it is both earth friendly and of the highest archival quality. Hand screen printing means our products often have some irregularities. We consider these to be part of their charm and hope you do as well.
The artwork is designed to fit simply into an IKEA Ribba frame (50cm X 70cm) that already comes with a pre-cut mount, so it makes it that much easier for you to hang on your wall. However, we do recommend that you flatten your artwork under weights (or just books) for a few days to make sure it’s nice and flat before placing in your frame. Then all you have to do is admire it. Each screenprinted artwork comes packaged in handy cardboard tube, which makes it easy for storage, posting, and makes them look as a great gift.
And because the design team at Make Me Iconic want to educate as well as inspire, each cardboard tube also comes with their renowned label outlining the story of the Nylex building and what makes it so iconic.
