Mikroman - Mikroworld

This amazing concept was created by Brit designer Sam Buxton. It is essentially a series of very fine mini metal sculptures, each capturing his creation ‘MikroMan’ in various activities: cycling, driving, working out, jungle trekking, on Mars, etc. - all represented in great detail.

The fun of these fantastic pieces is that they start off flat (presented in a striking black package) with the user actually transforming each 2D piece into a wonderful 3D micro sculpture.

Why it's a favourite:

Useful – not particularly, (although they look brilliant on a desk and will be a guaranteed talking point) but enthralling – absolutely!
